We are seeking a qualified General Dentist with pediatric experience to join our team and help provide exceptional patient care. We are seeking a motivated individual who is well detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Salary: ranging from up to $400,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, crowns, and preventive care, while utilizing pediatric dentistry skills to assess and create treatment plans for children requiring age-appropriate dental care.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric dental cases, including managing early orthodontic needs, designing treatment plans, and addressing common pediatric dental issues.
Skilled in managing patient comfort, including sedation and anesthesia techniques when necessary for young patients.
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene, post-surgical care, and preventive measures for long-term dental health.
Maintain accurate patient records, document treatments and progress, and collaborate with specialists as needed for complex pediatric cases.
Coordinate with treatment coordinators to ensure efficient scheduling, follow-up care, and patient communication.
Maintain communication with referring dentists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program or experience with pediatric dentistry procedures.
Experience in managing pediatric patients, including children with special needs.
Ability to work with pediatric-specific dental appliances, including space maintainers and early orthodontic devices.
Proficiency in digital imaging, including pediatric radiography and CBCT (if applicable).
